I have noticed this lately also. What is going on. There was an ad on TV that said they were getting faster than ever before. Looks like false advertising. I am getting 7K speeds lately. Used to be 9K++

Getting more than 15000?

Theres no way youre getting more than 15000 unless you have boost. Your modem is hard capped at 15000 download. If you are indeed getting more than 15000, then that is very odd...

My feelings exactly. I have been using the flash speed test as the Java based NY Speakeasy never seems to be working. Flash is subject to more compression error, I seem to remember. The OOL download is, however, very accurate and it indicates that I am above the 15000 hard cap.

You upload is normal.

About average for most users.

Remember its -UP TO- 2 megs. Not 2 megs. 1.5 -1.8 megs are normal averages. Its what I got before I got Boost.

yes it is possible to get higher then 15 meg the actuall max is 16.5
