Finally got ahold of the right person

After weeks of ups and down connection I called my local cable co. bypassing tech support and got ahold of a supervisor there. I told her my situation and was told there was a major outage at that present time and even they did not have internet access but problem was just about resolved. At that same time my cable light on my modem stoped blinking but told her of the up and down connection I had over the last three weeks and she scheduled a tech to come out the following week since this was late friday afternoon. The tech showed up right on Que, replaced the cable line running from the node at the street to the house and checked the line signal again. One thing I will say about the service tech was not very talkative or friendly and acted like it pissed him off because he had to come out but thats been 3 weeks ago and have not had a drop in service since. I now give insight a thumbs up.

Here we are a year later...

Definitely give insight a thumbs up now, still rocking, speeds are about 3000Kbps up/80kbps down, but now see where that can be improved by an upgrade but raises the monthly fee to $70, I'll live with my 80kbps up for now.

Anyhow, since line was fixed I bet I probably had two outages lasting each about 30 minutes and here just lately some problems with sending E-Mail and thats it for a hole year.
