| YOUR THROUGH QWEST!!!
What are you thinking....you had msn through qwest right?!? it's not the ISP all the time it is QWEST's DSL packages it's congested as hell...go through Continet's New Edge Networks a better (yet slightly more expensive) alternative. I had those exact same system dropouts when I was with MSN. Probably on the same days. | |

| Re: YOUR THROUGH QWEST!!! Even going with your incorrect assumption that QWest was to blame (proof contrary below), the responses, or lack thereof rather, that I got from Continet's support staff were completely intollerable, they essentially ignored me for nearly two months, only responding with a brush-off when I became noticably annoyed with them. That alone was cause enough for me to leave. Now then, the problem was not QWest. The long term (7 to 16 hour) outages were Continet's of their own admission every time. The hourly (or more often) interruptions have completely gone away now that I've switched providers. Neither my hardware configuration nor my circuit level provider have changed. And lastly, a note on MSN - I have never used MSN nor do I intend to, what I meant by escaped from them was merely that I switched to Continet to avoid being forced over to MSN. | |

| Thought I should add this Since I work for ContiNet I thought I should add a bit. Over the last couple weeks we have had major issues with our core router. We have been dealing with Cisco, and the problem is pretty much taken care of.
As for the support problems, there were problems with our after hours support, we have talked to them about it, and it should be resolved now. If there was a problem with support during the day, I didn't hear about. And since I handle, or at least keep an eye on most of the daily support I would have heard something.

| Re: Thought I should add this Yes, you yourself told me that everything with the router had been fixed two times, about a week apart. The problems started over a month ago though, not two weeks. Also, despite your claims that everything was fine, there was outage the very night QWest finally executed my transfer. There were also two other outages in the seven day limbo between order and switch. As for support, you yourself told me everything was fine over the phone when it obviously wasn't, and you were the one who finally responded to my e-mail queries by asking if I had the latest cisco broadband operating system when you knew the problem was your own router. I very much hope I'm not the only DSL customer Continet's lost in the last month. | |
