Sprint raising its prices?

I heard from a friend that has this service that his rate increased $10 a month once his 2-year contract expired. It goes up $5 if he chooses to not use Earthlink. He cancelled the whole thing and went with Cox.

Yes, I got one of those "Happy Anniversary/Send More Money" e-mails back in April. Since I've had mostly good experiences with SBBD, I regretted not getting a two year contract. That mistake will cost me $240 this next year. But at $49.95 a month (with Sprint Long Distance service discount) I still think it is worth it.
