| SBC is dunping me I have had good results with SWBell.net. I installed them two years ago, then relocated a mile away and had a pretty good transition.
Now they have sold me and others to "SBC Yahoo DSL" or something like that, and insist that I must migrate or they will migrate me anyway. any refusal to migrate is considered to be cancelling my account, resulting in a demand for payment for any remaining term.
I suspect yahoo is not too bad, but I am quite perturbed by their insistence, and by the apparent lack of support for the way I have chosen to set up my accounts, etc. For example, they seem to recognize only two email providers- their own and Microsoft's. Browser Environment Software" which they claim to have an incredible array of features and enhancements - none of which I have a use for ....

I myself have not done the migration yet, and I have internal contacts at the ISP that can get me some straight answers.
