I15 corridor is a hotbed of WISP's

The only drawback I've seen from area WISP's are DL caps. But if you aren't a heavy downloader WISP service is awesome and everyone I've talked to who has Aerosurf is very satisfied with the service.

Your right, I forgot to mention the DL cap of 2GB. But as you mentioned, I am not a big gamer or downloader. I am mostly a heavy surfer and researcher so the DL cap is not an issue for me.

Then it will be perfect for you. The DL cap will make the people who would hose the service by downloading 24-7 seek a different provider. Aerosurf while a little higher priced has a rep in the I15 valley for providing exactly what is promised. I'm new to the area (moved here from OC) but I've already heard a lot of good things about Aerosurf.

Of course people will talk smack...but in a land without DSL or Cable...talk doesn't mean crap. Sure...you would get OOL or WinFirst if it were available...but it isn't. In your area Aerosurf is the best provider...especially with your intended application. I'm out of their service area or I would get it.

ATTBi is rolling out areas all the way from Murrieta to South Corona (I'm supposed to get service this month) but until then, WISP is the only real broadband available (satellite won't do BB UL rates).

700/700

may be nice now but as users are added it drops drops drops. until you get SBBD levels of service. most of the time good download speeds but horrid upload speeds. around 30 to 70kbps on the upload side. bytecaps pretty much kill your enjoyment of the service as you know the meter is running as you use it. curious: do you have the USB CPE or the router? if you have USB CPE your speeds could probably even be higher with the router option.
