Jeez, you guys out on the Left Coast will pay just about anything for pretty close to nothing. (How else can you explain 2,000 square foot houses on 1/4 acre lots selling at a million bucks?) Anyway, the folks you reviewed sell a 1,000/1,000 residential svc for $200 per month *WITH* a 2 year contract! Down here in the bayou, we'd call that a little steep. I get the same DSL svc with BellSouth for $45 per month, and better than that cable with Charter for $49. In truth, I run *BOTH* svcs (because I too cannot afford to have any interruptions) for 1/2 what you run yours. I think you're getting ripped off.

1) Taxes 2) Building Codes and other regulations 3) Reduction of available land for housing due to zoning, set-asides for greenbelts, etc. 4) Did I mention taxes?

anything with decent upload is worth that kind of money providing its stable and their network it kept upgraded and grows as they add users.
