Your review begs the question:

Why is it that you have the need to contact their tech support so frequently? If they are doing their job correctly, you really should have no need for tech support. If they are *not* doing their job correctly, then you should find a new ISP.

I agree. FYI, it never was so frequently, and at the time being a relative novice in dealing with DSL problems, the difficulty was found to be either with my equipment setup or verizon equipment, except 1 maybe 2 times they had server problems. And when, as recently, their mail server goes down, it's basic to be able to talk with someone, anyone, in their offices to find out what's happening. If your phone suddenly stops working, I don't know about you, but I'm going to call the phone company and somebody will answer. It's just that they don't seem to comprehend customer service/appreciation. After all, the reason any of them are in business is because of us. Or maybe they're deep in a financial mess and can't afford to pay for someone to answer the phones? Some choice! Finding another ISP is appealing, if there were any good ones in my area. But even if I found a good one, how would I have my service cancelled with DSL Designs if I can't talk with anyone? So what do you do? Keep your fingers crossed and have fun.
