| Servers are violation of Waymark's AUP It sounds like you are a former DirectLink customer, like I was. DirectLink permitted "personal-use" servers, but after I had already renewed for another year with Waymark, I found that their TOS prohibited it:
Use of ANY Internet Server Software (including but not limited to SMTP, POP, HTTP, FTP, etc...) is strictly prohibited on dial-up and DSL residential services. User ID's and passwords are intended for use solely by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any activity that occurs over their connection.
That's why I was already looking for a new ISP. The 7-day outage just accelerated my switch. |
