Go Pro if you can afford it. I went pro last month after having the service for almost 3 years now. Much improvement as far as speeds are concerned.

Yes absolutely! I'm averaging 3.5Mbit down and 220 to 350kbit up. I bought it mainly for the VPN support, but you cannot beat those speeds!

| Question... Can someone explain how the cap on the newsgroups works? What happens if you hit it? Are you charged extra for the month? Does your download speed get throttled? Are you unable to use newsgroups for the rest of the month?
I don't think I would hit that, but I imagine things change once you have a high-speed connection. I'm considering getting service, and I'm curious about this. I'm so tired of dialup, and the phone lines in my area are so screwed up, I'm lucky if I get 28.8. The phone company won't do anything about. I've been waiting almost three years for DSL, which I don't think is going to happen (it's available in my area, but due to the screwy phone lines in my development, it's no go), and I really don't care to stick a dish on my house. But Comcast is available in my area, and I already have cable TV thru them.
I didn't see anything on their home page pertaining to this issue, so if anyone could shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it.
