| Still Rock Solid In Sprin, TX I also have the expert plus package and have had little to no problems with it since it was hooked up may 2003. There has been only one small anomaly where about every 4-5 monhts my circuit has to be rebuilt on the RT side due to a large collection of line errors that have no explenation yet. With that the router itself has to be rebooted about every 2 monhts to clear the errors on my side. Other than that the line is rock solid and fast.

| Re: Still Rock Solid In Spring, TX Yea we noticed that when we first got the service up and running. I am sitting about 2500 wire feet from the RT so its not a distance issue. Might just be a bad line somewhere, but that was never determined. I'll ask about it next time I have to have SBC rebuild my circuit. | |

They usually treat RT connections better, don't know why, just do..Yeah I'm sittin at 937 feet on RT, can't find the damn thing on my property, but speed is just as great as it's always been, just awaiting my 5 static ip's to be provisioned, and get off PPPoE....The 2wire router is really kinda sweet, you can configure each connection either ethernet, wireless, or USB with it's own firewall settings. My PS2 works great too.....
SBC Rocks, until you get transferred to India for support, So, I'll hit the boys here for issues as I've always done.

| SBC ID... If you had an ID for nine years and you wanted to keep it, you could've done that, the representative who took your call didnt know a thing about his/her job! Im really sorry to hear that! If only I'd have taken your call... Tech Support would've never been R--O-.-B---O---T---I---C---.! | |
