I feel that Comcast has really come around since the days of Excite@home. @Home was great, but nothing compared to how it is now. I had heard once that each city's comcast network is managed by the local city office of comcast. Not sure if it's true or not, but it would make sense to me because during some outages I have called their local office and the tech support person was able to tell me what was going on and not to tell me to reboot the computer or the modem. Which the national 800 # is notorious for.


Glad to see someone else is having a great experience with Comcast besides me!

Blast Upgrade?

If you pay 42.95 for your service, that must mean you're on the 6000/384 tier and the reason you're seeing 17/1.5 is Powerboost.

Do you know if the 16,000/2,000 Blast! upgrade in response to Verizon FiOS competition is in your area? If it is, I would upgrade, but that's just me. I myself pay the 10 dollars more for 8000/768. (Soon to be 16/2)

Do you have any interest in upgrading to a faster speed or does the 42 dollar package do it for you?
