I am still amazed at the speeds you can get from this service. They coming to Wisconsin anytime soon?

They are never coming to Wisconsin. You must come to New York. Or CT. Or (I think) NJ.

OOL is, and always will be, a regional ISP. Unless they are bought out by AOL or the like.

If that happens though, the once-great OOL will become just another broadband service

OOL not for me

It is true that OOL is avilable in NY but in area where I live it is not and won't be or maybe something wil change. Right now I am using Earthlink cable running through TW servers. OOL runs through Cablevision servers which are avilable in Bronx and Brooklyn.

Only a max of 10/1?

If you're only getting 9/950, I suggest you reset your modem. The standard is 15/2 now.

If you really haven't lost your connection once since 2002, I envy you. I've been down at least 2 times a month.
