I'm also a customer of net venture and they did lower the speeds. I makes me mad because I had already been expierenceing nasty packet loss and lag spikes quite often with them. For surfing the web and what not they are still ok, but for the gamer in me, I just want to rip their heads off and throw them into the river. Getting a ping of ~50 then having it spike to over 400 in game is just crap. And now that they lowered the speeds it doesnt help any.

Yeah me TOO!!

I am not happy either. I signed up for a certain speed and am now getting cut in half. I only moved away from ATT to NetVenture was because the value for the money was greater, well now it is not as good. Considering ComCast (ATT) has 24 hour support... I am considering going back to ATT.

BTW...I do not 100% agree with your ratings either... considering the tech support is limited in hours and the speed is dropped now I think that a few of those ratings could come a bit lower.
