They've either got to $hit or get off the pot if they have any hope of rescuing a fraction of the customer base they once had.
Service since the August 'move' has been decidedly poor compared to what it used to be before the great mistake.
Nothing has been reliable at all. Nearly every week there is a major problem of some kind or another, whereas before major problems were a true rarity.
They also are not a broadband company for all intents and purposes anymore, having pointed all their DSL customers over to Prolynx Internet. They will probably never get most of these customers back even if they do get DSL up and running again someday.
AmericanISP is a dialup company only, and has become a bottom-of-the-barrel operation at that.
I'm still a half-customer of theirs relying on e-mail and webhosting, of which e-mail has been a major PITA lately. |
