| Ex GTE I am assuming that you are on the west coast. Nonetheless, you should be able to get 1.5M down if you are close enough to the CO. I called "billing" myself to make the change and should be at 1.5M by June 2. Be patient, for the money the 1.5M is well worth it with Verizon. | |

on the initial setup, a pc is off from network, connect directly to modem, the username and pwd you have create yourself after that, you can use the username and pwd to setup your router/server, then all are good | |

| Verizon DSL I have the 3.0 Mbps down for $29.99 a month through Verizon. It tests in at 2.8Mbps at badwidthplace.com. It very rarely has down time and is extremely fast, I am very satisfied with it. All my paperwork arrived properly and set up was a very easy. (I didn't bother with the software they sent.) Seems like you may have had a bad experiance...hope you give it a chance. | |
