Update

I decided to change to Robert's PPoE software for EnterNet 300 to see if that would help. It connected right away, and I have not been kicked off for 30 minutes. My speeds are a bit faster as well.

Re: Update

I don't know if SW Bell had a bad few days, but I had to switch back to to the EnterNet 300. I was getting the same problems again with Robert's PPPoE later that day. Since last night, everything is working fine again. Maybe they did find a problem with the line. My experience with SW Bell is that the problem will mysteriously disappear, and then they say there was nothing wrong. They just don't want to admit there was a problem in the first place.

Line test????

Hi, before you got Robert's PPP, did you have a flashing yellow on dsl and green on sys and enet. Cuz I was logged on for about 4 hrs then all of sudden I got disconnected. I registered and all but I now I can't get a solid green light on the modem dsl. Will Robert's PPP fix that or do you think I really have line problem. Man, I can't get an answer from none of the Techs. All I get are 800, 877, and other numbers to call. And I HATE wait for someone to answer. It usually takes about 30-1hr to get to talk to a tech (So they call themselfs).Your respond and anybody else will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks Carlos

Re: Line test???? (SWBell)

Robert's PPPoE driver will only help is the DSL modem stays continually synced, if the DSL modem is not, then it's a line problem.

Re: Line test????

If you modem is not syncing up it is a line problem. check cables and jack, it may help
Anon The problems seems to be solved for now. I have been problem free for close to a month. I did have a line test done. The lights on my modem are all grenn. They blamed it on the server, which is what I suspected all along. SW Bell Internet was trying to pass the buck. He said they will never admit it was their problem. Anyway, all is well for now.
