It's not wireless

My provider's name (Air Net Link) is a bit misleading. I have a wired T1. Cav is somehow involved (as is Verizon).

Re: It's not wireless

Is that what you would call a full t1 service? I know there are partial t1s available.

What about hosting game servers with that thing? How does it compare with say, a fast DSL connection?

Re: It's not wireless

Yes, that's a full T-1. Partials are generally called "fractional". I've found "fractional" T-1s aren't widely available, at least not from the providers I've checked with.

I've never hosted a game server (believe it or not, I've never even played a game that required a host!!). I've never experienced DSL either. Although, if sheer upload speed is what you need for hosting, a T-1 would be a awesome choice.
