You're right about Charter and their pricing. All around us here is Time Warner and they charge $44.95 for Road Runner and gives speeds of 3.0 down/384 up. We pay $54.95 for 1.5 down/128 up. Plus if you were to use their modem...that is an additional $3.95/month. I never can get a full reason as to why they charge so much for less. Could it be that Charter is one step away from bankruptcy court?

Umm, unless you live in NYC or LA or some other major metropolis, I doubt very seriously, and very unfortunately, if you will ever see any competition between cable companies. I think, all in all, your review is pretty fair and accurate.
