they say should upload @ about 300 KBPS, and up. BUT LONG AND BEHOLD!!! the tests say i do, but i rarely reach 100. mostly, i upload @ 44 kbps. Your beter off getting the same speeds with sumthin like verison DSL

| Re: Its not worth the hassle lol. seems you are probably measuring download speeds by downloading a file from a website which are measured through browsers in kilobytes which is not the same as your ISP is telling you. They are measuring speeds in kilobits. Here is a conversion for you 1 Kilobyte (KB) = 8 Kilobits (Kb) Meaning that your described 44KB/s above is 352Kb which is over what your isp advertised to you. Do your homework before you blame your isp....... | |

join:2000-11-04 Miamisburg, OH | I like SBC DSL better then Cable, I always blame cable for "wild speed" since they always goes up and down. My DSL has never been "Wild Speed", but has always been steady. However I do agree with the Bytes and bits that do calculate different. | |
