this gentleman, but the loop delivered by Ameritech and
measured twice by Covad was unacceptable for any
reliable SDSL service.
There was a history of marginal performance at this
location and loop length and we declined to provide service.
We recommended alternative vendors to him.
We very much appreciate the high marks for "pre-sales"
which presumably reflect the dozens of hours of tech
support we invested in this ultimately unsuccessful install.
