Maybe I'm lucky, too

I read all of these posts of unhappy users, but I don't have the problems others do. I started with a self installed unit I got from a local retailer and used the dial return service for about three years. Biggest problem was staying connected to the dial-up servers.
When DW ran the offer for free install with the upgrade to two-way, I hesitated because of these threads, but became so frustrated with the phone lines that I decided to take the leap.
The installer was rude, but got the job done, and done right (anyone want a 1-way setup?) Now I run laptops and desktops throughout the house on a Linksys wireless AP with no problems. No, it's nowhere near the speed of DSL or Cable, but I don't have those options. I'm sticking with the service. Maybe if everyone else drops them, my service will speed up, Ha.

Hey I'm from Siskiyou County too.

Hi I'm from Yreka. It's suprising to find someone nearby using Direcway. I am thinking about getting Direcway 2-way satellite internet. Do you have any helpul suggestions or tips about getting this service? How's the connection reliablity up here? Thanks!
