RR speeds up

I also have rochester rr and have notice a huge increase in speed. A couple of months ago it slowed down quite a bit, from appx 2000 to barely 1900, then out of the blue consistant 2850's still with up at appx 350. Thanks RR

I live in Brooklyn,NY I woke up one afternoon very surprised! Getting almost 3000 down for no price increase.
I thought I was still sleeping. Now if only time warner would put msg network,Fox Sports NY and espn hd on their HD service I would bow to them

Yes, back in July there was a very noticeable slow down in RR. I used to be able to test at 2150 kbps or so at the NYC speakeasy site, but then in July it slowed down to no more than 1920 to 1950 or so. So since the RR was reinstalled yesterday, I have had no troubles getting test speeds of 2900 to 2950 kbps at the NYC Speakeasy site. Yes indeed...thanks RR ! I tried pumping the installer for info, but all he did was smile at me when I went to the Speakeasy site and tested at 2905 kbps while he was still here. I have heard that everyone at RR has been sworn to secrecy about this speed increase.

That seems awfully low for NY

What TWC division are you on? Just curious because the lowest upload I heard of in New York state was 512k for a few locations. The Albany division(which I'm on, despite being over the Massachusetts state line) has 1 mbit up for the standard and turbo tiers, with 10 mbit down for standard, 15 for turbo.

Rochester/Buffalo Division

We are in the Rochester,NY division which now has been combined with Buffalo's. I can't believe that the upload remains at 384 myself. And this has always been one of Roadrunner's premier markets.
