I usually get 1400kb down and 380kb up...I have a 130 RSSL signal becuase I live right next to their Cambria tower.
I play games and surf...it is very fast!!

| Where in Boone Grove? Hey red how far you live from 400 and 49 (400 is 4 miles south of 49 and division). I am curious if I am going to be able to get when i move out there in 3 weeks. I already called for a site servey. I would appreciate any info please.

| nwiis "Update: 1/20/04 Speeds started to suffer during prime time, down to under 200 kbps at times & I notified the wireless support department. After extensive testing it was confirmed that my radio link was fine, traceroutes & speed tests were forwarded to the networking guru's and my routing problems were addressed in a very timely manner. Speeds are back up to 1300 - 1400 kbps even during prime time. This WISP's support is outstanding!"
Wish I had that same support, I get my service from NWIIS out of Rensselaer, IN. Bandwidth and pings suffer horrible from around 5 - 11 PM. I do have to commend them on the wireless end though, my wireless connection is always great (2000 kbps almost 24/7). The ISP has simply oversold their bandwidth, and I guess I have to deal with it. | |

I live right in between rossville and frankfort on County Road 400 North about 2 miles from cambria and am interested in their service. i currently have wireless from A-plus computers or CCWAVE or frankfort computer center and my speeds are supposed to be 512k down and 1.5Mb/s up. i get no where near that. Webs ite or phone number would be great. Thx | |
