You can send from email from your domain still.

Set your outgoing server to smtp.central.cox.net instead of smtp.yourhost.com. Everything else stays the same. The headers of the email will show it relayed through a cox server, but 99.9% of people never look at the headers. The other .1% are sysadmins or people fighting spam. Everything else about the email should look just like it did before they blocked outgoing port 25.

qwest offers more than dsl

i live in the omaha area, and i currently have cox. we switched to cox from qwest@home, and they provide internet cable. I was getting higher speeds on qwest@home than i am with cox. if i remember right, i was getting around 5000/1000 for cheaper than cox charges. the only downfall is that qwest doesnt offer digital cable or high def, and both of those are sweet.
