GOOD MORNING,I SAW YOUR REPORT IN RELATION TO BLUEYONDER.
FIRSTLY THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT NUMBER IS A LOCAL LOW RATE
SO A 45MIN CALL WILL ONLY COST YOU 25P.

DO YOU HAVE THE SUPPORT DISC THAT COMES WITH THE PACKAGE
IF NOT,DOWNLOAD IT AT BLUEYONDER/SELFCARE.THIS WILL CORRECT
ANY PROBLEMS.SO YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO CALL THEM.

I have BY 2mbit service(have been with them since surf unlimited upt thro 512/1Mb/2Mb) and have tho say that I reckon BY are the best ISP in the UK bar none. The only gripe I have is that the upload on the 2Mb service is the same as the 1Mb service. Surely, a customer that is prepared to pay top dollar for the highest tariff(oops mobile speak slips in)service offered by BY should get a differential upload in line with what he is paying. I think 512k upload is not too much to ask for those subscribing to the premium BY service of the day, REALLY!
Other than that the service cant be faulted with minimum downtime and good CS(if you need it, I very rarely do
this is the heavyweight champion of BB in the UK atm(cept of course for that pesky 256k upload limit. BY do right with us early adopters and we will keep shelling out as the Mb/s gets higher else we might as well stay with the lower speed services as the differences are not that huge but the price is

1. The calls used to be, and IMHO still ought to be free
given the amount we're paying.

2. I don't think its reasonable to keep someone on hold
for more than a couple of minutes.

I've only had a couple of connectivity problems, and one
of those was an outage at a distribution node down the
street and required an engineer call out.
