| Poor Reliability You put down reliability as Comcast's down side. I agree. Here in Northern California, Comcast reliability is horrible. Plus, the speed is great when it works. When it doesn't work, your speed can be as good as dial up. I don't know the extend of your poor reliability is that you are happy enough to lick Comcast a high praise. Here reliability means that you can be out of service 2 days a week. In a month, you can be without service for about 10 days, even more (depend on which month - I keep the log). And, I don't know what causes it because everytime it happens, they always have excuses. Either the cable outside needed repair, the tech forget to connect the cable to my unit, etc (you name it). To me, the reliability is a big issue with Comcast. I won't give it a "smooth ride" praise for Comcast due to reliability problem and speed issues. I haven't done my review yet with Comcast. But, when it is out, expect it to find it in the "horror" section. |
