Msn=not good at all

I was trying to go with msn at one point they sent the self install out to me I plug the modem in to my nic card and followed all the inst in the leaflet they sent out, nothing happens called tec support 13 times was on hold avg of 45 min each time. They say there is a problem on the line call back next day if it is not working, this goes on tell the give me the tier 3 support, guess what they were not to sell to my area for another 4 weeks, cancel send back modem qwe$t send me a Cisco 640 modem hook it up call my isp and wow it works m$n SUCKS just more money for Billy gate$.

yah, but what about ports other than 80?

I love the 1.5mbit connection, I am on the qwest service as well, but have you had the same problem I have had, where I cannot use any other ports other than http: ports? IRC won't work, no filesharing, nothing, and as I understand it, this is something that msn is in control of, not the user... therefore, we are not using a true internet connection, just some uber fast web browser... have you had this problem, or might it only be here where I am??
