loosing power...

Im familure with that area, interesting to see Time Warner bring Broadband to the rural areas.

The reason you can sometimes power a cable modem via a APC UPS and not have cable signal is because their local node looses power (if your main electric is out) I had simular problems with Time Warner Cable in Grove City when we'd have a power outage id loose cable modem signal but retain computer power via my APCs.

Road Runner Cable

Just order road runner cable this week and was on line with in two days. So far i have to say i am very pleased with the service.I came from Texas where i have always used dsl from ATT which i would have went with but was not available in this area.I Think that ATT is a little cheaper then road runner but so far i have no complaints at all.
