That also included the television service. They could not maintain signal strength adequately enough to supply us with quality viewing. We had to rewire the cable connection into the house twice and it still failed in performance.
I'm certain that others who have a Time-Warner-Earthlink connection that are not experiencing the difficulties I am. Good for them! But when I am within 10 MB of downloading an OS consisting of 700 MB to make into a CD and the connection fails, for hours, I have had enough of that sort of poor service. Its not worth it, at any price.
I have had this service for 6 months and its steadily declined in performance. I am dropped often with my connection. I am told that the fault lies in my computer. Funny they should say that, its just 3 months old. 
With the price increase to begin soon, I'm going back to an SBC ADSL connection for less money and a longer time period. |
