| Re: fast or slow? LOL - He was running 2 full-time servers which is clearly against the Terms of Service (TOS) and he got capped for it. Though I've never heard of anyone receiving an additional cap to 75kb, it's possible, but not likely.
150kb is higher then the upload DSL folks in our area so it's certainly no worse, even if capped.

| Re: fast or slow? its not about begging.. its about understanding TOS.. with the right attitude and tone of voice, an ISP will help you with what they can... vise versa, if your rude and loud, then they will turn their backs..
trust me, i know, i work for one of them.. call me uppper level and the bucks stop with me.. you give me a user who understands what they did was wrong and is friendly, then i will help em.. however, we always have users calling in DEMANDING something to be done about it and how its OUR fault.. blah blah.. all i can say is.. they wont get anywhere with that type of attitude..
just out of curosity.. you siad you were disgusted at this point to call them back.. the last time u spoke with them.. were you calm or mad? | |
