| Response from BridgeBand I would like to take a moment to respond. We (BridgeBand Communications) have responded to the fullest with this client. We have initiate multiple line repairs with the ILEC (at our expense), we have spent (again, at our expense) many hours with onsite visits and over the phone with the client's "technical" advisor. We had orignally requested that the client replace (we could do it, or they could contract it out to someone else) his internal wiring from the demarc to where they placed the modem. Given loop length, the circuit should function perfectly at 768k, and only drops with large amounts of traffic on line. Symptons indicate a line problem, and we have tested everything from our facillities to the end user demarc. Service is now quite stable at 512k.
I personally take offense at the notion that BridgeBand Communications does not provide any help or even care about residential customers. This is so far from the truth that I find it difficult to believe that someone would even post this. I appologize if you are having problems with your particular circuit, but as there has been past history with this circuit (with us, and other carriers), we have done our best to solve your problems.
Thank you for your time and attention. |
