Cogeco have a 15 GB combined cap.
15 * 1024 = 15360 kB
15360 / (60*60*24*30) = you cannot exceed 0.0059 kB per second
for each month.

Wow a 56k connection is cheaper and faster than Cogeco! Lol!

Get your mathematics straight

15 * 1024 = 15360 MB not 15360 kB

its 0.0059 MB per second or 0.59 kb / sec

Still damn slow though.

Yeah, we tried . Nonetheless, it's still pretty good to get 3 meg. at dialup prices .

I hate to be cruel (and I don't mean to be... but) enjoy the 5$ price increase for the better service you got.

Does videotron still pass through your thoughts?

I would have figured that with employee discounts its cheaper for you to stay with them regardless.... though I know MANY montreal area Bell techs who use distributel for phone and Inet. they honor Bell employee discounts and give you better than bell discounts.... just in case you didn't know

Hmmm, Distributel hadn't occurred to me but it's still DSL and I'd probably have the same connection issues since it all goes through Bell's pipe. I wonder what impact that would have on my Mobility bundle as well... Time for a little research.

Good news !

Good to see you got upgraded ! Bell finally installed a remote near my house, still waiting for them to activate it though. Hopefully I will be getting the same sync rate as you in a few weeks. This is CigaR btw ! (don't know if you remember me haha..made a new account)
