| Shaw > Telus the only time i have had a problem with shaw was when i was pulling down 10gigs a day. BTW, what do you download that you need more than a gig per day? why sacrifice speed for bandwidth?
I find Telus to be substantially more expensive, to get speeds like i did with shaw i would have to pay 50+ a month i believe, the low caps are retarded.

| Re: Shaw > Telus I suppose this debate could go on for ever, and depending on your needs it can change, i have just had too many problems with telus and their tech support at the time was not very helpful or knowlegable. But that was when telus ADSL was fairly new.
However with shaw i have rarely had to call tech support and when i have i was connected immediatly and they were very didn't treat me like a computer illiterate (which was the big thing for me)
I am currently on telus, and i must admit the uncapped bandwidth usage is excellent, but the slow download really starts to get to me when it takes all night to download one dvd, It is omething i am getting used to.
The other problem i have with telus is all the port scans and pings into my router. Both from telus and other telus users, i am scanned atleast once or twice a day, and the pings continue all day. I don't know why this is but life goes on.
