| The slimiest DSL company I've ever experienced Intercom isn't just the slimiest DSL company I've ever dealt with. They're the slimiest company I've ever dealt with, period.
I posted about them last year concerning a completely fallacious bill they sent me for $3000 for service they failed to even provide. I told them to shove their bill.
18 months ago I got a summons from Intercom from Small Claims Court. I showed up more than ready to take them on with documentation of their misstatements and sleazy dealings with me.
Instead, the idiot at Intercom sent his Russian-speaking girlfriend to file for a postponement because "he's not ready". Right. What they were obviously hoping to do was win by default in case I failed to appear. Indeed, there were two *other* outraged Intercom customers waiting for their turn to slam these weasels in front of a magistrate, one of them claiming that Intercom was ducking a civil court summons for *him*.
I showed up for the next SC court date. Another adjournment. Finally, on my third appearance, we got as far as having the case called. It was dismissed in less than a minute.
Today, more than a year after the original SC summons, I got yet *another* SC court summons from these clowns for the same bill. Since the former SC court case was dismissed with prejudice I plan to take this up with the court and, hopefully, have Intercom blackballed from small claims court for abusing it as a collections weapon to intimidate customers into paying their phony bills.
I would advise anyone to steer well clear of this sleazeball company. |
