Have you looked at all the options?

You list price as one of the low points for the service you are getting and I was wondering if you had taken a look at DLS Internet yet? They have a tower in Elburn and have a package that runs for 1/2 of what you are paying a month. Just something to look into.

Didn't know there where other choices. All of thes guys (MCC and DSL Internet) need to advertise more.

On the price issue, MCC just dropped their 12 month contract price and I am happy. It is now $70.00 per month. I also cannot see any of the other Elburn water towers from my home; consequently, MCC is my only alternative. If DSL Internet is on the water towers at the intersection of 38 and 47, these are the towers that I cannot see.

 Just go to www.dls.net and click on the wireless link. They have a map but it shows the tower on 47. Looks like it's near 38, so it might not be good for you. The speeds are listed as up to 1.6mbps, which would bring the monthly price down to around 40 a month with no contract. Are you sure you have no line of sight from your roof to that tower? They do site surveys if you think you have a shot.
