| FWD and Sipphone Nice review of Broadvoice (which I also use). However, your statement that FWD and Sipphone cannot be used with regular phones is incorrect. By simply using an adapter such as Broadvoice uses, both Sipphone and FWD can be used with a regular POTS based phone. | |

Seabrook, TX | International plan good except ... That would be Romania. It is still 17c/min vs. 12c/min with Lingo. On the other hand next door Bulgaria is 11c/min (the capital is even lower). Too bad because the rest of the plan looks very good.

|  Major outages in NY lately
Although the offering is compelling I would like to pinpoint that at least in NY City, BroadVoice has huge stability issues.
On May 02, 2005 in the evening, customers lost dial tone and could not call anywhere. Same thing on May 05, 2005 in the afternnon, and again today (the May 06, 2005).
A glitch here and there is acceptable, but a repeated outages like these spanning several hours certainly not. My advice, cancel and go somewhere else.
