I also live in Shandon and I never have any problems with the service. I currently have a 1000k connection and I get 1000k. My upload are higher than 1000k. I don't know any internet company that gives you that kind of speed. My ping times are low around 40ms. I am a mIRC scripter, I do many different things with it that require low ping times. I never have any problems. I play one online game, it too requires low ping times. I have received a couple pack loss loss errors but that is totally normal when the server is in the UK. My ping times very from 50-90 on that game. I would check spyware on your machine. For me I am very happy with CIC Wireless, and remember you live in Shandon. I've waited years for a high-speed connection. I had dial-up for many years, 19.9K. Even if it was down 50% of the time I would still be happy. I called every internet company in SLO county and they all said no. Try this call their technical support and tell them you are having problems. I have never had to call technical support but I am pretty sure they would be there to help. I disagree with you, and I would recommend CIC to anyone. Okay Thanks!! |
