If you were reading you would have read that your quality depends on the ISP, as at times your connection can be slow, and can affect quality! I have had no problems with mine, but my happiness, could be another persons' nightmare! Keep your dumb opinions off the forum, if your are going to be a dumb a**!

| i have Vonage now and for the last two months it has worked a total of 5 days two of which i would get cut off. i have contacted their joke of customer service and have yet to get any response other than their auto response assigning a ticket #... what a joke .... all of these companies need to understand the importance of good customer service and tech support!@ | |

1.) THEY OVER PRICE YOU.
2.) I HEAR ECHO ALL THE TIME.
3.) YOU CAN'T JUST CALL SOMEONE IN YOUR AREA CODE, YOU
STILL HAVE TO PRESS 1-xxx
4.) THEY CHANGE THEIR RATE AT THEIR OWN WILL.
5.) THEY FORCE YOU TO OBEY NEW TERMS OF AGREEMENT, EVEN
THOUGH WHEN YOU SIGN UP, IT WASN'T THERE JUST LIKE
TERMINATION FEE.
6.) ALL DISCONNECTED.
7.) TO MUCH STATIC.
8.) LINGOS RULES, IM USING IT RIGHT NOW, AND NO PROBLEMS.
9.) I HAVE USE VONAGE BEFORE, AND NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.
10.)PACKET8 GIVES YOU CRAPY 30KPS FOR VOICE CALLS, WHILE
VONAGE AND LINGOS USES 92KPS.
SO YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! | |

1. Packet8 does not overprice you! The site I went through cost me only $29.95 (Includes first months bill plus activation). The one you chose Lingo charges $9.95 for shipping and $29.95 for activation! They also charge Federal Exise Tax of $0.64 plus a Regulatory Recovery Fee of $1.50. Your bill will be $22.09, while Packet8 is only $20.55 a month!
2. I do not have an echo problem, but two of my friends do, but because of their upgrade, no more problems!
3. In the quick refernce guide of the Lingo service it says you have to dial 1 before the number for a local call, so you are a LIAR!
4. They do not change there rate at their own will (You are again a liar)
5. No one forces you to do anything! You have a 30 day free trial adn if you coose to continue then so be it! Read with sense uplike247!!!
6. What is all disconnected? You have nothing more to add?
7. You say too mush static! Could be more than one problem (Packet8 even upgraded there device) Oh! I'm sorry I guess you never bothered to read that as well! Duh!!
8. No one rules, everyone has a problem here and there, but I guess you know more, huh?
9. Used vonage before and no problems you say! What about the disconnection fee. You forgot to put that in or you forgot!
10. My phone and my other friends here in the US and abroad have no problems with their service!
In many of the statements that you made, you have lied and made yourself look dumb! Maybe you aren't trying to be dumb!
