| update 2.6 years later...still no problems. Some new taxes have the bill at $19.60 or so and one month I finally bought a few extra minutes.
One thing to mention. I have my routers on a good sized UPS. I also have a vtech phone with a battery in the base. A few years back during a long blackout, my neighbor (with a POTS line) had to borrow my phone since all his were wireless and useless.
Get a ups for your router and either plug your base into it also, or get a base with a battery backup. Then you will likely be one of the few with phone service in the next blackout. |
