I wasn't aware that they bumped up their speeds; here in Springfield, it's either BEX or DSL. That's pretty cool, if they've cleaned up their act. There was a lot of crap going on behind the scenes which left a sour taste in my mouth. Processes were so convoluted that it was enough to drive you mad.
Anyways, it's a moot point, since Comcast doesn't penetrate most of BEX service area. Neither do our other rivals, Adelphia, Time Warner, etc. It'll be interesting to see what happens though, should legislation be introduced dictating that we have to open our cable (and fiber ring) to competition.
