Agree

I spent all day waiting for an installer to show up to no avail. Comcast just simply wanted me to take more time off work and try again. After this I talked to some of my neighbors who are fed up with slow speeds, slow response to customer support items, and are moving to Qwest DSL. Thankfully I am a block from a CO.

Poor Customer Support A Sign Of The Times

I am one of those poorly equipped with a vast amount of knowledge. Perhaps, you could explain, "What is Traffic Shaping?", "What software do you run to keep it in check?", and especially, "How do you change servers?". Please, share this information with us.

I too am a Comcast customer in Denver. I no longer bother calling, e-mailing, or chatting. Scripted support has become a common method. I personally measure the quality against that of McAfee. It's a sign of the times. The choice that businesses have made. That is why Forums were created, to take up the slack of poor quality customer service. We create our own and solve our own problems.

I'm not sure what you mean about traffic shaping. You can tell me what problems you are having, and I may be able to help. im me at "candis man can" on aol or PM me on here.

Vonage Simulring Feature Fails To Function

According to the instructions and FAQ's, Simulring is a form of Call Forwarding whereby your home phone and up to 5 more telephones will all ring as one and answer an incoming call. The additional numbers are entered into a list. It is supposed to work as if you had your incoming calls forwarded to up to 6 separate telephones simultaneously.

Vonage claims that the feature is fully functional. However, myself as well as several others that I have recently spoken with claim that only the home phone and the first number in the list are engaged into the feature.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I am looking for documentation on this failure or a method of resolution if one exists. Thank you.

Mike

Comcast Review.

And how does all this fit in to a Review of Comcast? This review seems to have gotten off subject!

Re: Comcast Review.

Why are you all posting odd things in my review?
