| that's too bad I guess it's all relative and individual. When I had lingo, it was almost impossible to get them on the phone and when I did, they were unable to resolve anything. When I emailed them, I received pre-scripted replies that had nothing at all to do with my issue. Billing was accurate though and their web portal was ok, although not by any means good. If I had to recommend a company for voip, it would have to be vonage, although it's only good if you're calling primarily domestic numbers. If you need good and inexpensive international plans, there's not that much choice and I feel Galaxy (and I assume other RNK resellers) is your best bet.
My experience with Galaxyvoice has been very positive, but I do agree that it's crazy that their online billing record is so messed up, not to mention their archaic web interface. Having said that, for me at least, quality of calls and reliability has been very good - with the exception of calls to Berlin over the past few days.

| Re: that's too bad oh, just a comment about calling to mobile phones. Galaxyvoice doesn't charge for calls to domestic cell phone calls. They do, however, charge for calls to cell phones in Europe. This is standard among voip providers because of the different mobile phone billing system in Europe where the person CALLING the cell phone pays a higher rate and the receiver pays nothing to receive - unlike here where both the caller and the receiver pay for the call. | |
