It seems as if your experience happened early in our product launch at a time when many of our folks were still in the process of getting their arms around all aspects of the product. If that is not the case, we in senior management would very much like to learn more of the details of your experience so that we can work with the specific members of our staff that you encountered to work hard with them to better their skills.
We do pride ourselves on a knowledgeable sales staff (average 8 years of business telecom and networking experience) and service engineers (average 4.5 years of business telecom experience)
The company was founded in 1999 with the mandate of fixing what was wrong with SMB telecom .....NOT adding to what is wrong in business telecom.....and we have worked hard to provide exceptional service to our customers. The only thing that we can offer up as proof, other than the many testimonials on our site, is that our rate of churn is at 0.7% a month, the lowest we know of in the industry, and this figure goes across thousands of customers.
While you are right that we resell internet acccess, as it's a part of our model to have the largest internet backbone to serve SMBs across the US, we do not resell in any way our VoIP service. Our service is based on the latest version of the Sylantro softswitch and is completely redundant across hardware. Our staff of more than 30 support personnel, do work full time in our Cary, NC headquarters....we don't know and never have outsourced any part of our sales or service to those who work at home.
