Just to clarify, going by the info you are providing - if you will be paying 44.95 per month regular rate, you don't have High Speed Basic from Sasktel...you have High Speed Plus, which falls right around the parameters you describe. Sorry to rain on the parade  | |

| Yes you are on HS Basic then. I work in the call center at SaskTel, but I am not on this page in any official capacity. In some areas, where the bandwidth is available, we do offer a 5 mbps speed, for the same price as the 1.5 mbps. However, in the areas where service is offered as HS Basic, and we provide the faster service, we do not advertise it as such, due to the fact that not all customers in the area can get it, or close to it. Many can only get the 1.5 mbps speeds, due to the inherent distance limitations of DSL. So to all the rest, it is entirely possible that he is paying for an advertised speed of 1.5 mbps, and getting more than 3x that amount. | |
