**UPDATE** August 18th, 2006.

We had a huge storm here a few weeks ago and it seemed to have fubard our Arris TM402G modem. Speeds were fine but, we ended up with static on our phone lines. They came out August 12th on time and installed a new modem. Scientific-Atlanta DPX2203. Latest speed test is:

2006-08-16 16:51:53 Speed test @ dslreports-west2.speakeasy.net 4592/354 kbps
No more static as well.
