| road runner by default We have had road runner here in Hawaii for two years. We have daily issues with the service.
In the beginning I had to complain so much they came out and ran a new and separate cable from the road just for the Internet and each room of the house.
It would not be an exaggeration to state that we loose the network connection at least once a day. The dns server appears to go off line or down almost as much.
When they began selling their digital phone service here they over sold their capacity and that thoroughly screwed things up.
Why I know that is I have had the same tech guy out for every call and have his direct telephone number and he finally started telling me exactly what the problem was because he understood that I understood the problems. I used to work in the industry.
Here in Hawaii the choices where we live are slim, dsl or cable, or satellite but we use a voip service so that won't work for us.
If I had another choice I would take it! |
