The product is alright, nothing really negative to say about the product except they could never get it working at my own home. The problems I had were with the tech and their customer service, the tech knew nothing of computers and troubleshooting, he left me a replacement nic to install on my own. (Which isn't a problem, but for someone who isn't a computer tech.....).

Overall, just not impressed.

Keyon experience

I have had KeyOn in Las Vegas for over a year. $25 per month for life. Service was really spotty for first couple of months. Telephone support is good when you finally speak to someone, but it is typically leave a message and hope to hear from them. After the second service call, I noticed a more high-tech looking antenna on the house. Since then, I've had consistent and reliable service. For the money, I am very pleased. I think it is superior to DSL and half the price of cable.

I've moved and don't use Keyon anymore so if there is any new developments with the company just spot.

Cheap?

I've been happy with my Keyon service. The speed does slow a little around 4-6 but I'm sure that's because people get home and start youtubing and file sharing. I actually give credit to Keyon for not squashing file sharing like some ISPs in order to get better speeds for customers. I also know for a fact the equipment Keyon uses isn't cheap, in fact, it is more expensive per customer than cable implementations. The problem is that it is unlicensed wireless and any farmer with a little spare cash can do the same thing and really cause problems. But all in all, I'd take Keyon over any of my other choices no doubt ... including satellite.

I have had Keyon in Las vegas for a few months and its the worst service I have ever had, even Sprint DSL was better. I plan on going back to Cox.
