Bait & switch

Verizon runs a classic bait & switch. After 14 months at 3Mbps, my connect was dropped to 768 Kbps and their representatives "swore" I could never have gotten faster speeds.
Now I'm desperate for something over 2 Mbps in order to sign up for VUDU.
