Reviewer never had DSL and was six months past due on co-lo

This review was written by a co-location client, not a DSL client. Either way, he made a few mistakes in his posting I feel should be cleared up:

1. It's true that we prefer discussing billing matters in writing. The purpose of this is to document conversations and to maintain the security and privacy of our customers information. Keeping such communications in writing seems to be most offensive to clients who intend to manipulate the unrecorded phone line environment we use. Case in point: L A Bridge trusted this person (Ruben, aka ACME Studios), until his account became six months past due. He had service with us for 15 months but only paid for 10. In that time our collection representatives called him again and again. Additionally, we faxed, snail-mailed and e-mailed statements to him requesting that he get caught up. Each and every person on L A Bridge staff spoke to this person on the phone repeatedly. I don't understand why he elected to lie about this.

2. L A Bridge did not buy the co-location business from ANET. We had provided the T-3 service to ANET for years until they announced they needed to close down. ANET was 2 years into a 5 year contract with us when they decided to close shop. This left us with three years of service to cover on a AT&T T-3 circuit which they would not let us out of. ANET turned over the co-location business to us to make ammends for not fulfilling their contract and for leaving us in a lurch with the carrier.

My feeling is that ANET's deterioration was directly due to deadbeats like Ruben. In 12 years running this business we've seen our share of people like him who have made an artform of obfuscating their billing issues and manipulating billing representatives to keep themselves from getting cut off. It's dishonest and fraudulent. The only upside is that we are now a little better at spotting folks like this early on.
